While classes at Kempsey Macleay Valley U3A Inc are offered face to face, there are many online learning opportunities you could explore.

U3A Online

U3A Online is a branch of U3A that offers courses online only instead of face to face.

To enrol in U3A Online courses you must be a U3A online member. Membership is $30 per year.
You can choose to sign up for 1, 2, or 3 years. Click here to learn more and join.

PLEASE NOTE: Your KMVU3A Inc membership payment DOES NOT give you U3A Online membership. U3A Online is a separate organisation to KMVU3A Inc.

Once you are a member:

Individual Study Courses are free and can be undertaken at any time
Courses with a Course Leader have a $5 fee per course and a fixed starting and finishing date

Kempsey Shire Council Library

Kempsey Shire Council Library has some great online resources available all year round. View the KSC Library website here.

Some services require you to create an account using your Library Card number. For others, you will just need to enter your Library Card number to access the service. Your Library Card number is the number starting with "A" or "M" on the back of your Library Card.

NOTE: Some services are only available from the library computers, and are not available from your home PC or device.

Look under Borrow for information on how to borrow electronic books and magazine
Look under Find eResources on the home page and under the Resources tab for a variety of options
Examples of options are:

History of Kempsey
A variety of family history resources, some eg Ancestry.com can only be accessed from the Library computers and is not available at home
Carter's Price Guide to Antiques can only be accessed from the Library computers and is not available at home
Haynes Car & Motorcycle Manuals are available for a huge range of motorcycles and cars
World Book Online is the ultimate online reference source produced by the well known print encyclopedia of the same name
Several film and video streaming services gives you free access to a variety of movies
MANGO Languages allows you to self learn any of 71 different languages. It also has cultural tips for many parts of the world
