How to use the Member Portal
Reminder: To access the Member Portal
Before you can use the Member Portal existing members must first REGISTER and then log in
  • You can register and log in with your email or member number
  • Two members who share an email must use their member number to register and log in - NOT their email
    • Members were given a new member number in November 2023. It is not a number you may have had before that date.
    • This member number will be on any receipt emailed to you since 2024 or email us and we will send it to you

USING the Member Portal:
​When you log into the Member Portal the Portal Home screen will display. It will show you your Membership status and any outstanding amounts owing.  

A variety of links will display on the left hand side of the Home Screen.  Experiment and use these as follows:

  • HOME - this will appear in the top left of the screen if you have clicked on any other link. Use this to return to the main menu / home screen from any page.
  • Log out - use to securely close the portal and log out when finished
  • HELP - in top right hand corner - click to see the email address at which to request help if needed

  • Change or update your password - click Change your password. Note a passphrase is preferred. You must obtain a 50% strength rating to be able to save any changes
  • Update your personal details eg address / email etc - click on Change my Contact Details
  • Enrol in classes - click on Classes and enrol as usual
  • View your enrolled Classes and contact your tutors- click on My Classes
      • You can email your tutor or advise them that you will be absent from a class within this section

  • Pay any outstanding amounts - click on Pay Owing.  This will only be displayed if you owe money
      • If you enrol in classes first, you can pay for these and any membership owing at the one time using on Pay Owing
  • Pay your Membership Renewal - click on Renew Membership
      • Read any messages that appear warning you to check if you have already paid for the current year to make sure you do not pay again which will mean you are paying for the next year
  • View your member statement showing payments previously made - click on Statement
  • View KMVU3A documents eg Constitution, safety information, Incident form - Click on Documents
  • Print your KMVU3A name tag - click on Print Name Tag.  Cut out, fold and place in your plastic holder
  • Access the Tutor Portal - Tutors only will also have a link labelled Tutor Portal, which allows them to manage various aspects of their classes. Read more on the Tutor Portal here.


TROUBLESHOOT issues
Email not found:
If the system is unable to verify your email address please note:
  1. Check that the email address you are entering is the one registered with KMVU3A in your membership record
      1. If you still cannot register, contact us
  2. If you share an email with another member you must:
      1. Use your member number to log in - not your email
        1. Your member number will be on any emailed receipts from us
        2. OR email us and we will send it to you
          1. NOTE: You were allocated a NEW member number in Nov 2023 in this new system
          2. It is not any member number you may have had before Nov 2023

If you have forgotten your Password / Passphrase or want to change it :
  1. Click on Reset Pin / Password
  2. Enter your email or member number if you share an email with another member and follow the instructions

Change your Password/ Passphrase from inside the Member Portal:
  • Log into the Member Portal
  • Click on Change Password on the left hand side
  • Follow the instructions
  • NOTE: Using a passphrase is recommended.  You must achieve at least 50% password strength before you can SAVE any changes
